METAL REUNION ZINE: BRACARA EXTREME FEST 2011 | 09-10 DECEMBER

Brits Napalm Death are major highlights at Bracara Extreme Festa 2011, a festival that has been imploding the city of Braga since five years ago. Set to take place at centro Cultural Braga Viva between 9th and 10th December, Bracara Extreme Fest 2011 founds its program on a dichotomy (+) (-) that allows each spectator to choose his favorite sonic direction.

Being the fathers of grindcore, Napalm Death do not give up in providing explosive energetic discharges to everyone going to their shows. On the 9th December, at the (+) stage of Bracara Extreme Fest 2011, Napalm Death will be presenting their fourteenth album to the national crowd.

Norwegian Enslaved, renowned masters in the art of making the best progressive black metal of our days, are one of the essential names featuring the (-) stage. In the same way there is Daylight Dies, a North-American collective the finds its roots in the more melodic tuned doom metal. There is also the Irish branded new black metal outfit Altar of Plagues, presenting the recent “Mammal”, a record that is being received greatly by the specialized critics or Skepticism’s funeral doom.

Bracara Extreme Fest 2011 (+) stage also reserves an explosive package for the 10th December that makes promise to let anyone indifferent. In the presence of Decapitaded and their quite influent and perfectly executed brutal death metal, join forces with the not less brutal Aborted, a Belgian collective that keeps on surprising everyone throughout their intensively labored lifetime.
