Trial By Combat, is an American extreme metal band residing in the Bay Area, California. Their style has been described as "death-thrash", "melodic death metal", and draws from many metal influences; from Exodus, and Carcass, to Amon Amarth, and Black Dahlia Murder. The lyrical content spans themes of conspiracy, militaristic warfare, pitfalls of religion, heathenism/paganism, inner struggle/self nullification, and political freedom. For over 13 years the members of Trial By Combat have been steadily shredding most all venues throughout California and Nevada; sharing the stages with such bands as "Soulfly", "Black Dahlia Murder", "TYR", "Hatchet", "Aenimus", among many. TBC has played two Vans Warped tours, and is currently endorsed by the following MI brands: Reunion Blues, EMG Pickups, Sfarzo strings, Coffin Cases, PigHog Cables, and Trexist Cymbals. TBC has been featured on various metal compilations around the world, (Pain Fucktory 2020), (Gather Management 2018) and has 3 EP's to date, with an independent full length album "Consumed by the Darkness" set to release May 2020.
